Nothing takes God by surprise

God knows exactly what is about to happen in our lives! Nothing takes Him by surprise and nothing causes Him to be worried. God has already been where you are about to go.
1 Kings 17: God said to Elijah, you need to leave here and go and hide at a certain brook and I will look after you. You will have fresh water to drink there, and I’ve ordered the ravens; the birds, to feed you there.
How often does God have things going well in your life and then the supply runs out; the rain stops? What do you do? Some people blame God; “God you brought me here, I did what you said and now look what’s happened.”
But if we just would learn that God knows exactly what is about to happen in our lives! Nothing takes him by surprise, and nothing causes him to be worried. God has already been where you are about to go.
Psalms 46: 1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains be shaken into the midst of the seas.
A refuge is like a shelter where we can go in times of danger and feel safe.
Strength means that we can fight and battle in his strength; his might, his power, not our own. It is his energy that works in us when we have none of our own! When the battles of life get too much for us, we can rely on the strength that God gives us.
Therefore, we will not fear!!!
Psalms 46: 10 Be still and know that I am God. Sometimes we just have to hand our situations over to God and allow him to be and do what he does best. Allow him to be God in our lives!
Every test you go through will bring you to another level of trusting God. It is the heat that will reveal who we are and what we are made of! If we allow Him to, God will go before us and provide for us as he did for Elijah.
1 Kings 18:41Go eat for there is the sound of the abundance of rain. Elijah had proclaimed to Ahab that the rain was coming and to be prepared. Elijah heard the rain even before it was seen. What are you hearing? What are you expecting? Elijah was expecting rain. Seven times Elijah said, “Go back.” The seventh time the servant reported, “A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea”
What do you see? What has God spoken? Even before the cloud appears, keep looking; keep believing. Others may not see it, but you can see it in your spirit.
Go Back. Keep looking! The persistent prayer of a righteous man avails much. Nothing is impossible to us if we absolutely, wholly allow God to be God in our lives and follow him in everything!
Remember:God knows exactly what is about to happen in our lives! Nothing takes him by surprise, and nothing causes him to be worried. God has already been where you are about to go.
So, don’t ever give up!
